You are expected to read and obey all rules written below. The breaking of rules will result in warnings, suspensions, temporary loss of privileges, and a ban from the forum. In that order depending on the severeness of your offense. If you are new to role-playing do not hesitate to ask an administrator or moderator on how to participate, that's what we are here for.
Out of Character Rules - OOC
-Do not flame, insult, belittle or offend others. (Haret does not tolerate racism or prejudice of any sort, you will be suspended for three days with no warning if an administrator or moderator believes you have broken this rule.) -No taking advantage of these boards simply to increase your posting count. -Do not argue or bicker with the decisions of moderators or administrators.
In Character Rules - IC
-No godmoding or power-playing and no controlling others characters without permission. -No killing of other characters without permission of both the player. -Please role-play according to the setting and theme of this site. -Do not spam. -Rather than double posting, edit your previous post, please. -Please remember your character can only know things if he/she/it was directly told or if they found something relating to it. -Keep your character profile up to date, this is your responsibility. -Remain as active as possible. If you are going somewhere or leaving the site, let an administrator know before hand. -Try to avoid OOC posts when IC. -You may be in two or more places at once, but make sure you do not mess up anyone else's time frames. -You are allowed to have a max of three characters at a time, as long as none of them become idle. If you wish for more than three get in contact with an administrator to ask. -Each character must have their own account and have their own profile filled out.
-Also, use spell check. It's your friend.
